Celebrate National Healthy Lunch Day™

National Healthy Lunch Day, held this year on September 19, raises awareness about the need to make healthy choices at lunchtime and started in 2015. The American Diabetes Association hopes that this day will ignite a dialogue about the importance of healthy eating and move the country toward healthier lunch habits on September 19 and beyond.

Participating is easy! Here are three easy ways we can get involved:

Take a picture of your go-to healthy lunch recipes and share on social media using ADA’s hashtag, #HealthyLunchDay.

Encourage your workplace to participate in National Healthy Lunch Day by downloading the free workplace e-toolkit.
